Mike, Okie, Alison, and Shirley, Mark B5 I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the wonderful care and kindness you showed me during my hospital stay in March 2026. Mike and Okie Mark, thank you for your compassion, professionalism, and for helping make a difficult time easier. Your care and encouragement meant so much to me. Alison and Shirley, thank you for your kindness along the way. Your friendly smiles and caring attitudes were a blessing. God places special people in our lives when we need them most, and I truly believe He used each of you to help me through that time. Thank you for all that you do for your patients every day. I appreciate the nurses, technicians, and the EMS team—they were professional, kind, and compassionate throughout my stay. The ambulance crew did an outstanding job when I experienced a cardiac arrhythmia on June 29. My concern is not with the medical staff providing direct care, but with the overall organization of the hospital's processes. Waiting to see a physician, receive an explanation of test results, or be discharged takes far longer than patients should reasonably expect. I had an echocardiogram performed at 8:00 AM on June 30. As of 5:30 PM, I was still waiting for a physician to review the results and discuss them with me. Spending an entire day waiting for important information while hospitalized for a heart rhythm issue is both stressful and discouraging. I hope the hospital administration will review the efficiency of physician communication, the timeliness of reviewing diagnostic tests, and the overall discharge process. The excellent work of the nurses and other frontline staff deserves a system that is just as efficient and responsive.

I'm leaving a 5 star review for a few notable folks that took care of me during my 5 day stay at this hospital who despite all odds, brightened my day as I grappled with new masses discovered, a blood clot scare, a heart event scare after not being able to eat much for a week. First off, Dr Koch in surgical Oncology was highly engaged, interested, and very knowledgeable and helped me to put much of my anxieties to rest. She was the only doctor that spent more than 2 minutes by my side discussing all the possible things wrong with me and the pain I was experiencing. Secondly, George in MRI transport and the entire MRI technician team were a highlight of my stay, they were positive and eager to help me get what I needed. After a failed IV I was near tears as I had been waiting several days to be get my MRI but they managed to get me right back in as soon as my IV was in. George spent time with me talking any my interests and really cared about what was going on with me, he deserves all the kudos to keeping me calm during this whole MRI experience. I would like to sincerely thank the team at Lakeland Regional Hospital for the compassionate and excellent care I received. My procedure was completely painless, which brought me a great sense of comfort and peace of mind. Dr. Michael Nagib was truly outstanding—kind, attentive, and highly professional throughout the entire process. I also want to recognize the radiology staff, who were incredibly warm, caring, and professional. Their kindness made a meaningful difference in my experience. Thank you all for the exceptional service and for treating patients with such dedication and humanity. It is deeply appreciated.
